AL MARTINO

Al Martino 1927 - 2009

It was with great sadness and shock that I learned of the passing of my friend, the legendary Al Martino. We had the great pleasure of acting as his UK Agents for four hugely successful tours and I was honoured that, even when Derek passed away, Al stood by me and trusted me to continue acting as his agent.

I travelled with Al throughout his last tour here in September 2008 and we became very good friends. He gave me lots of advise and assured me that I had all the credentials to carry on the business. He was worldly wise and shared some amazing stories with me during our travels.....he even gave me a golf lesson, even though I'm sure he thought that the golf course was not a place for woman!!

Plans were in place for a return visit in June 2010...such was his popularity and fan base. He will be missed by many people in the UK and throughout the world.
